**Description**
This position is responsible for leading the Indirect Procurement function within the NACR, managing circa 400M in spend, across all indirect procurement categories with the majority of spend in A&P (Agencies and Collateral), Corporate Services, Store Construction, Supply Chain & Facilities Management, and IT.
Key accountabilities include leveraging spend data and insights to lead the strategic course of NACR processes, priorities and policies and executing against global category strategies and targets to achieve NACR's transformational business objectives in a highly collaborative environment. Leading a direct report and matrixed team, the ideal candidate will be an agile and highly motivated professional with demonstrated successful experience leading a Regional Indirect Procurement team.
The role is responsible for ensuring that process performance is optimized, and technology functionality is maximized to ensure that the highest possible compliance levels are achieved, whilst supporting this prestigious and unique brand led environment, with measured agility and commercial awareness. This role actively participates within both the regional, and global indirect procurement leadership teams as well as preparing and presenting on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis to key stakeholders in Finance and Brand senior leadership roles.
+ Lead the regional procurement team to develop, advocate, and implement sourcing strategies to achieve regional and globally relevant short and long⁃term value creation targets, and excellence in operations.
+ Work collaboratively to drive cost, quality, supply and sustainability improvements through tactical and strategic sourcing activities, including supplier relationship management, vendor consolidation and purchase compliance across the regional landscape.
+ Lead and drive regional sustainability efforts across the commodities to improve the regional sustainability, I&D and operations performance.
+ Engaging with the senior NACR stakeholder community to ensure a collaborative Procurement working relationship throughout the Supply Chain, Brands and Functions, in close partnership with the regional heads of brands, strategy and finance.
+ Lead and support the team in cross⁃brand supplier negotiations to ensure best overall cost position for the organization.
+ Negotiate, develop, and approve and sign contracts, agreements, supplier direction and business awards, across local and global stakeholder communities, and in strong collaboration with the regional Finance and Legal teams.
+ Maintain and utilize a cohesive understanding of industry best practices and technology trends to support team members and business partners in achieving excellence, including key industry innovations, value chain evolution, industry innovations and operational efficiency opportunities to support the regional performance and transformation agenda.
**Qualifications**
+ A degree in relevant area such as supply chain, procurement, technology, marketing or business & administration
+ 15+ years directly related experience either in a corporate environment leading the creation and implementation of regional and worldwide category strategies across all Indirect categories
+ 10% travel time
+ Experience of leading and managing senior stakeholders
+ Demonstrated successful results in managing procurement activities across a broad range of Indirect categories including Media, Creative, Corporate Professional Services, IT and Collateral
+ Proven ability to lead internal and external partner teams to ensure successful and professional procurement activities
+ Managing change and communication processes with diverse brand leads
+ High level of interpersonal and negotiation skills
+ Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems using data and input from various sources
+ Diplomacy with strong listening and analyzing skills
+ Good oral and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate
