The Executive Director is accountable for guiding operations to achieve key performance indicator goals set by the board of directors for the WelbeHealth program. Through effective oversight and leadership, the Executive Director ensures that the program delivers high-quality care to WelbeHealth participants and remains compliant with all applicable state and federal regulations. The Executive Director facilitates collaborative relationships across WelbeHealth and with stakeholders, and manages a high-functioning leadership team that successfully operationalizes WelbeHealth values, team culture, and mission.

On the day-to-day, you will:

Manage direct reports including hiring, training, supervising, and mentoring, ensuring that all staff are assigned duties based on their education, training, competencies, and job descriptions, as well as actively monitor team member engagement and support organizational health practices to ensure exceptional culture Participate in the quality assurance program for participant care and staff performance Partner with finance leadership to develop, maintain, and operate within a program budget, including hiring plans, to achieve operational goals Build strong relationships with key external stakeholders such as community service providers, regulators, legislators, and associations, as well as establishing and maintaining communication with ACF staff and services, support services and community resources, and participants Oversee the development of sound data collection methods and maintenance of secure and accurate medical records Ensure the development, implementation, and enforcement of policies and procedures, including participant rights Lead the planning and administration of the managerial, operational, fiscal, and reporting components of the ACF

Job requirements include:

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, social welfare, or gerontology, or relevant field experience in a managerial, administrative, or supervisor position in a health care facility Each year of full-time, or full-time equivalent, administrative or supervisory experience or training in a healthcare facility may be substituted for each year of the degree requirement - four (4) years of such experience may be used to satisfy the degree requirement Minimum of five (5) years of experience developing and managing highly successful programs for vulnerable seniors Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a health or social services program, with experience managing a senior care program preferred Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop other leaders and care team members Current knowledge of chronic care, geriatric issues, and best practices Track record of driving initiatives that lead to improved patient experience Experience leading in a data-driven organization, leveraging reports and data to prioritize and manage people and projects
