Responsibilities Direct the development and implementation of policies, procedures and strategies for fundraising activitiesCollaborate with executive management on identification of fundraising goalsDevelop and implement plans for capital and major fundraising initiativesPrepare communications including the design, writing and printing of brochures, newsletters, donor communications and annual reportsImplement marketing strategies that will create a climate conducive to major giving and increase the number of major planned gifts and estate commitmentsPrepare or assist with budgets and ensure compliance with allocated fundingCoordinate and direct internal/external auditWork with foundation board of directors Manage foundation governance, compliance, business and operations Responsible for generating annual financial support for ongoing programs and initiatives while providing leadership on financial targets, budget variances, cash flow projectsCarry a portfolio of major gift supporters and prospectsPlan fundraising events and gatherings Maintain a collaborative working relationship with hospital administrators
Requirements

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience
required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's
degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years
being in leadership/management.
