**Executive Director, AI Business Transformation**

**About the Role:**
As the Executive Director, AI Business Transformation, you will be responsible for leading CBRE's Gen AI strategy, driving hands-on implementation of solutions, managing projects, fostering strong stakeholder relationships, and overseeing vendor partnerships. You will play a critical role in identifying opportunities to leverage AI across various business functions, from property management and leasing to research and investment. You will be a thought leader, evangelist, and hands-on contributor, driving innovation and delivering tangible business value.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Strategic Vision and Roadmap:**
+ Develop and articulate a comprehensive Gen AI strategy aligned with CBRE's overall business objectives.
+ Identify and prioritize key use cases for Gen AI across the organization, including but not limited to:
+ Content generation (e.g., property descriptions, marketing materials)
+ Data analysis and insights (e.g., market trends, investment analysis)
+ Process automation and efficiency improvements (e.g., contract review, due diligence)
+ Customer service and experience enhancement (e.g., chatbots, virtual assistants)
+ Create and maintain a technology roadmap, outlining the required investments, resources, and timelines for Gen AI initiatives.
+ Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Gen AI, including large language models (LLMs), generative image/video models, and other emerging technologies.
+ **Hands-on Implementation and Technical Leadership:**
+ Lead the hands-on development and implementation of Gen AI solutions, including:
+ Model training, fine-tuning, and deployment.
+ Prompt engineering and optimization.
+ Integration with existing CBRE systems and data sources.
+ Development of APIs and other interfaces.
+ Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of engineers, data scientists, and other technical professionals.
+ Ensure the quality, scalability, and security of all Gen AI solutions.
+ Establish and maintain best practices for Gen AI development, including model governance, ethical considerations, and responsible AI practices.
+ **Project Management and Execution:**
+ Lead and manage Gen AI projects from ideation to launch, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
+ Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
+ Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
+ Track project progress, manage risks, and proactively address any issues that arise.
+ **Stakeholder Management and Collaboration:**
+ Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including business leaders, D&T, legal, and compliance teams.
+ Educate and evangelize Gen AI capabilities and benefits to stakeholders.
+ Gather and analyze stakeholder requirements to identify new Gen AI opportunities.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project implementation.
+ **Vendor Management:**
+ Identify, evaluate, and select vendors to support Gen AI initiatives, including model providers, cloud platforms, and consulting firms.
+ Manage vendor relationships, ensuring that vendors deliver on their commitments and meet CBRE's requirements.
+ Negotiate contracts and manage budgets related to vendor services.
**Qualifications:**
+ **Education:** Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. PhD preferred.
+ **Experience:**
+ 10+ years of experience in AI/ML, with a strong focus on Generative AI.
+ Proven track record of successfully developing and deploying Gen AI solutions in a real-world business environment.
+ Experience leading and managing technical teams.
+ Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
+ Experience in the Real Estate industry is a plus.
+ **Technical Skills:**
+ Deep understanding of Gen AI concepts, including LLMs, generative image/video models, and other related technologies.
+ Expertise in programming languages such as Python.
+ Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
+ Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
