Cisco is seeking a dynamic and strategic Executive Communications Manager to support two exceptional marketing leaders: our VP, Strategy, Planning, & Operations and VP, Lifecycle Marketing. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping and amplifying the voice of these leaders and their teams across Cisco Marketing and the broader Cisco organization. You’ll create innovative, authentic, and high-impact communications that inspire employees, engage stakeholders, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:Internal/Employee Communications:
Develop and manage a comprehensive communications calendar and cadence to ensure consistent messaging and engagement.Plan and execute regular employee all-hands meetings, including content creation and logistical coordination.Draft organizational announcements and oversee their timely distribution across multiple channels.Establish and maintain a robust two-way feedback loop to support and strengthen the organization’s connection with employees.Coordinate and communicate change initiatives, ensuring employees are informed, supported, and engaged throughout periods of organizational change.Executive Thought Leadership:
Develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy to support and amplify the voice, vision, and priorities of the leaders you support.Craft compelling internal and external communications, including email messaging, presentations, and executive briefings.Provide communication support for key events such as: GSX and Cisco Live ensuring alignment with organizational goals and audience expectations.Manage executive social media presence, including content strategy, drafting posts, and building engagement with key audiences.Develop and execute a team award strategy, identifying opportunities to highlight achievements and promote recognition.Minimum Qualifications8+ years of experience in executive communications and internal communications roles required for consideration
Tech company experience required for consideration
Experience managing communications for high-level executives (Sr Director & above) and crafting content that inspires, informs, and influences.
Experience supporting Marketing organizations highly preferred
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a strong ability to adapt tone and voice for diverse audiences.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Familiarity with social media platforms and trends, with hands-on experience managing executive social media accounts.
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, functions, and geographies.
A creative and strategic mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
