Position Summary:
This position will report to and support the Vice President, Oncology Commercial Strategy.
We are looking for a dynamic, performance driven, well organized and flexible individual who is a strong team worker and thrives in a fast-paced international environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform highly diverse and complex administrative functions, including but not limited to proactive calendar management, domestic and international travel arrangements, preparing expense reports.
Responsible for the organization and planning of complex in-person or virtual meetings for globally based teams in domestic and international locations working with local and HQ teams as required.
Anticipates needs of manager and/or team and takes appropriate steps to produce desired outcome with minimal assistance from supervisor with accuracy and efficiency to meet all deadlines.
Interface in a professional manner with senior executives and matrix team members, handle confidential information with discretion and demonstrate diplomacy and excellent judgment in dealing with sensitive situations.
Exhibit a positive work attitude, high productivity and a collaborative approach with other employees across an international environment.
Prioritizes activities and takes action based on an understanding of department objectives, customer needs, and BMS business strategy.
Anticipate key issues and implement action plans based on changing priorities and commitments.
Organizes and continuously modifies multiple processes, programs and procedures in response to a changing environment. Anticipates and creates contingency plans to deal with possible problems and roadblocks.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Successful candidate must possess at least 10 years of administrative experience, with significant experience supporting an executive.
Candidate must have a High School diploma, bachelor’s degree preferred.
Candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels of management internally and externally.
Experience in working with an international team is desirable.
Strong communication skills including excellent verbal and written skills.
Proven ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality, discretion and good judgment.
Must possess the ability to take initiative and adapt to frequently changing priorities.
Ability to work and think independently with the ability to analyze and solve complex problems with excellent judgment; and provide high quality work with attention to detail.
Proactive, solution-oriented approach to collaboration with strong decision-making capability in order to guide assigned projects to successful conclusions.
In depth knowledge of company internal systems, policies and procedures.
Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Concur, Purchasing systems, SharePoint and Workday.
The starting compensation for this job is a range from $74,630.00-$90,400.00, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).
The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed.
Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.

On-site Protocol
BMS has an occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role:
Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility.
