Executive Assistant to the President - 19385
This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience supporting executives, ideally a President or CEO, specifically within the private sector.

We’re looking for a full-in-office Executive Assistant for a privately owned and growing company west of the downtown core.

Our client is a well-established Edmonton company that is known for their exceptional customer experience and innovation in the wholesale distribution industry. Although they have been established over 30 years, they are growing and changing, covering provinces in Western Canada. This is an in-office role located west of the downtown core in Edmonton.

In this newly designed role, the Executive Assistant will play a key role in supporting the President and Executive Leadership Team by providing high-level organizational and administrative support across both professional and personal areas.

Executive Assistant responsibilities: Working with the president to assist in establishing and streamlining processes to provide the most effective support. Manages the daily calendar, meetings, and appointments for the President Prepare agendas, take meeting minutes, and track action items for leadership team, board meetings and staff meetings. Coordinate internal and external communications, acting as liaison between the President and team Maintain organized systems for follow-up, documentation, and correspondence Assist with personal tasks such as travel bookings and occasional personal errands Support the planning and logistics of board meetings, events, and staff functions Manage travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and transportation Provide support with business development meeting scheduling and community involvement The successful candidate has: 5+ years of experience in an executive support role is required. Private industry experience or start up experience is preferred.
Post-secondary education in business administration or a related field is an asset
A high degree of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail Able to anticipate needs with the ability to solve problems and be resourceful Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 Strong organizational, time management and communication skills Comfort handling both business and personal matters with maturity and diplomacy Proficient in MS Suite, Google Suite, experience with an ERP, CRM and HRIS system is an asset. Must be based in the Edmonton area to be full in office. Compensation and benefits: The discussed salary range is $85,000 – $90,000 depending on experience
