Position Summary: Provide diverse administrative support to the KCI President’s Office, exercising independent judgment to maximize office efficiencies such as accuracy of schedules, meetings, calendars, and communications. Work in a team environment providing support to members of the senior leadership and executive assistant team as needed. Supports KCI Leadership with administrative duties for all governing bodies including but not limited to the KCI and KCC boards. Works in cooperation with the Executive Assistants in support of administrative meetings and presentations.
Responsibilities:
At all times, facilitate a professional, customer service-oriented atmosphere surrounding the President’s office, for benefit of KCI staff members as well as visitors. Perform Microsoft Office functions including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook with a high level of proficiency. Prepare correspondence, meeting minutes, spreadsheets, reports and presentations as necessary. Operate dictation equipment if needed. Research, analyze, and format information to assist the President in informational and statistical reporting, utilizing Internet search engines and other resources as needed. Consistently demonstrate high level of interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, in dealings with board members, KCI staff members, visitors and other individuals or organizations doing business with KCI. Answer/screen incoming telephone calls and open mail, determining priority level when possible. Proactively handle routine or simple requests that otherwise would hinder President’s focus from more important matters.Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelors degree strongly preferred in business, communications or related field Five or more years of experience supporting executive level management is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in place of the education/experience requirements. Experience in combined healthcare/academic setting highly desirable. Exceptional administrative, clerical and computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality and discretion.
