Executive Assistant - Administration - Corporate

Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses. McLeod Health is also composed of approximately 15,000 team members and more than 90 physician practices throughout its 18-county service area. With seven hospitals, McLeod Health operates three Health and Fitness Centers, a Sports Medicine and Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, Hospice and Home Health Services. The system currently has 988 licensed beds, including Hospice and Behavioral Health. The hospitals within McLeod Health include: McLeod Regional Medical Center, McLeod Health Dillon, McLeod Health Loris, McLeod Health Seacoast, McLeod Health Cheraw, McLeod Health Clarendon and McLeod Behavioral Health.  

Responsibilities:

Provides administrative support to members of McLeod Health’s senior leadership team, including scheduling, writing correspondence, minute-taking, emailing, handling visitors, routing callers, managing travel arrangements, and answering questions and requests.Supports and generally receives direction and oversight from the Senior Executive Assistant.Facilitates meetings, which may include occasional evening events, and possible travel.Anticipates and proactively addresses executive needs.Manages small projects and facilitates team functions.Participates in change management and process improvement initiatives.Manages and coordinates complex calendars and correspondence, with a fine attention to detail.Possesses and demonstrates thorough knowledge of complex office procedures and functions.Employs discretion and sound judgment in carrying out tasks, which may involve sensitive and confidential matters.Demonstrates McLeod Health’s core values of Caring, the Person, Quality, and Integrity in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.Carries out all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 

Experienced/Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and OutlookExceptional written/verbal communication skillsOutstanding organizational and follow-up skillsMust be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and organize workload to meet timelinesSolid interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organizationAbility to handle confidential information sensitively in a highly professional mannerFlexibility to adapt quickly to changing circumstances; able to proactively question and challenge to prioritize and identify solutions in timely manner

 

Requirements:

Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Secretarial Science, or other related health care degree from an accredited school or 5 years’ experience supporting an Executive level leader.
