On behalf of our client, TalentWorld is searching for an Executive Assistant to support the CEO in downtown Halifax. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining discretion and professionalism.
Executive Assistant Responsibilities:
• Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO, including calendar management, scheduling, travel coordination, and meeting preparation.
• Act as a trusted liaison between the CEO and internal or external stakeholders.
• Prepare correspondence, presentations, and reports with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Track action items, follow up on deliverables, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Handle confidential information with integrity and sound judgment.
• Assist with project coordination and support special initiatives as needed.
• Participate in after-hours calls or meetings when required to support ongoing projects and priorities.
Executive Assistant Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience supporting senior executives in a corporate environment.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
• High degree of professionalism, discretion, and initiative.
• Relevant post-secondary education such as an MBA, MFA, BDes, or equivalent.
• Experience in project coordination or interior design is an asset.
• Ability to work full time on-site in downtown Halifax.
