**Executive Assistant** As the Executive Assistant, supporting multiple executives in Pearson’s Enterprise Learning & Skills division, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency and facilitating seamless communication within our rapidly evolving organization. Beyond traditional administrative tasks, you will serve as an operational partner, collaborating closely with leadership to implement best practices, streamline processes, and support initiatives that propel our business forward. This position offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of digital and business transformation efforts and contribute to the success of a high-growth organization. **Key Responsibilities:** Operational Partnership: + Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and execute strategies for organizational efficiency and scalability. + Proactively identify areas for improvement and recommend best practice solutions to optimize operations. + Act as a facilitator, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes. Meeting and Calendar Management: + Take ownership of scheduling, prioritizing, and coordinating meetings, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and business priorities. + Conduct thorough preparation for key meetings and drive follow through, including compiling agendas, pre-meeting briefs, and action items coming out of key meetings. + Anticipate and address scheduling conflicts, adjusting as necessary to accommodate evolving priorities. Initiative and Project Management: + Drive initiatives from conception to completion, overseeing timelines, milestones, and deliverables. + Monitor deadlines and progress, proactively identifying and addressing potential roadblocks to ensure timely execution. + Track initiative performance metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress and outcomes. Technology Integration and Innovation: + Champion the adoption of AI and tech-first solutions to streamline workflows and enhance productivity. + Research and evaluate emerging technologies and tools that align with organizational goals, recommending implementation where applicable. + Collaborate with IT and relevant stakeholders to implement and optimize technology solutions. Travel Coordination and Optimization: + Manage travel arrangements for leadership, optimizing itineraries to maximize efficiency and productivity. + Facilitate seamless communication and follow-up during country visits and off-site meetings, ensuring action items and objectives are met. + Coordinate with local teams and offices to schedule meetings and events, fostering effective collaboration across geographies. Cross-Functional Collaboration: + Partner closely with other EA, Chief of Staff, operations and project managers to ensure alignment and coordination across the organization. + Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing, serving as a liaison between different departments and functional areas. Qualifications: + Experience in business administration, management, or a related field. + Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar role, preferably supporting multiple senior executives. + Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with project management tools and technology solutions. + Demonstrated ability to think strategically, anticipate needs, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement. + Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and change. + Prior experience in a high-growth or tech-driven organization is a plus. Location and Work Arrangement: This role offers remote work flexibility, with periodic days in the NYC area office and occasional travel to our offices in London. Given the geographically dispersed nature of our business, some flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate different time zones and business needs. **Rewards & Benefits** Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York State, New York City, Vermont, Washington State, and Washington DC laws, the pay range for this position is as follows: The minimum full-time salary range is between $75,000 - $100,000.
