SMX is seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and energetic **Executive Assistant (EA)** to support two executives. The ideal candidate will provide high-level C-suite administrative support by managing and prioritizing calendar engagements, preparing ad hoc reports, handling sensitive information requests, taking thorough meeting notes, drafting correspondence, event planning logistics coordination, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings.

This is a hybrid position local to DC metro. There will be occasional work at the SMX offices in Herndon, Virginia and Hollywood, Maryland, and approximately 25% travel to support offsite meetings/engagements.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:**
+ Directly support the Executive Vice President, and the Chief Technology Officer, by providing detailed administrative support such as calendar management, booking and reconciling domestic and international travel, reporting and statistical analysis and research.
+ Liaise as the point of contact between ELT members, SMX customers, Partners, and external clients in a timely and professional manner.
+ Draft Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations to summarize analysis and reports on corporate business processes.
+ Promptly complete travel and other expense reports.
+ Assist with editing, tracking, and submission of project documentation.
+ Use various OneDrive and SharePoint to organize, share and store documents.
+ Assist with overall project documentation packages, ensuring corporate deadlines are met.
+ Create templates, processes, and workflows, as applicable, and edit existing forms and templates.
+ Attend meetings, take minutes, and track action items to completion.
+ Promptly respond to communication to action items such as schedule conflicts, urgent issues and other information.
+ Handle the full life cycle of event planning for employee and client engagements.
+ Provide onsite support for meetings or events, as needed.
+ Perform other administrative duties as required.
**Required Skills/Experience:**
+ 7 to 10 years of executive level administrative support
+ 7 to 10 years of extensive use of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Office suite (Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, SharePoint and OneDrive)
+ Exceptional time management skills and ability to complete tasks within required timeframes with little supervision
+ Extremely strong attention to detail even under pressure
+ Self-starter that will work independently, manage workload and multi-tasking skills
+ Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills amid shifting priorities
+ Highly advanced interpersonal skills to build and maintain internal and external relationships
+ Strong communication skills and ability to converse with all levels of organizational management
+ Goal oriented and action focused, pragmatic and self-disciplined
+ Strong ability to effectively handle multiple shifting priorities
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Capacity to learn rapidly and adapt quickly to change
+ US Citizen
**Desired Skills/Experience:**
+ Strong technical skills
+ Previous C-Suite support, preferred
+ Bachelor's degree
+ Experience with Government opportunity management portals
+ Experience with Deltek timekeeping and expense reporting a plus

The proposed salary for this position is:
$71,700—$107,500 USD
