Business & Administrative Support is responsible for assisting general business operations by providing an array of administrative and data support activities.
Administration is responsible for performing a variety of administrative activities in support of the leaders they support.
The Executive Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing support to the Office of the EVP & General Counsel, including other legal leaders, as assigned, in their day-to-day office activities. The position manages scheduling, makes travel arrangements, processes expense reports, creates and edits Word, Excel and Powerpoint documents for use by management and the Board of Directors, partners with Events staff on Office of the General Counsel, other management and Board events, maintains a strong understanding of all relevant Cardinal Health operations and frequently represents the company/senior leaders internally and externally through written and verbal communications. This job frequently handles highly confidential financial and personnel information, which requires the use of discretion and judgment in all interactions. The Executive Assistant anticipates the needs of leaders and is capable of managing multiple tasks at a time.
Responsibilities
Manage EVP and SVP calendars and related planning and activitiesAssist with meeting scheduling for EVP, SVP, and VPs on team, both internal and external meetingsCoordinate complex travel arrangements, both domestic and International, in ConcurReconcile, submit, and track expense reports on behalf of EVP, SVP and VPsCoordinate group meetings, workshops or team building events; collaborate with the Meeting and Events and Live Events teams, when neededCreate Excel/PowerPoint/Word documents and presentations utilizing data or input provided by leaders and staffPrepare agendas for staff meetings and coordinate speakers/topicsCommunicate with other Executive Assistants on scheduling meetings and other important events while building positive relationshipsLearn and utilize company technology to complete assignmentsFollow up on behalf of leaders supported on any outstanding issuesAssist with onboarding and offboarding of employeesManage EVP and SVP communication/shadow mailboxWork with Talent Acquisition to schedule interviews, calibrations, and other meetings for hiring employeesMaintain department organizational chartsPartner with HR, Communications and Finance to coordinate meetings hosted by EVP and SVPDevelop and constantly improve internal processesOrder office supplies as needed by teamKeep current with company travel, expense and other relevant policies and communicate changes to the teamManage multiple projects simultaneouslyHandle external deliveries and mailScreen incoming calls/inquiries and handle independently where possibleOther administrative support duties (support during key projects) as assignedQualifications
6+ years of related professional experience, supporting senior level management with large national or global companiesAssociate degree, preferred, or equivalent combination of education and professional experienceDemonstrates extreme discretion when handling confidential matters/materialsDetail-oriented and displays ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlinesAbility to effectively set expectations with internal customers regarding timing of activitiesProficient in Microsoft Office programs; ability to learn new technologySelf-directed; ability and willingness to problem-solve and apply creative solutions (example: calendar conflicts)Proficient verbal and written communications skillsWork proactively and independently, learn and adapt quickly, and enjoy working in a fast-paced and changing environmentAbility to interface with employees at all levels of the organization

Anticipated hourly range: $ 26.92 per hour - $38.30 per hour
