Dow’s Feedstocks & Commodities Business is seeking anExecutive Assistant to support the Business Vice President, based in Horgen, Switzerland. This role is responsible for office administration and coordination of activities at an international level. About You You are an experienced administrative professional with strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset. You proactively support senior leadership, anticipate needs, and manage complex scheduling with discretion and professionalism. You are comfortable handling sensitive information and maintain the highest standards of confidentiality. Responsibilities + Provide comprehensive support to the Business Vice President, including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and presentation preparation. + Exercise sound judgment in handling internal and external correspondence, prioritizing what requires the leader’s attention. + Prepare recurring meetings and their agendas, send out material in advance and ensure that decisions are documented and followed up on. + Manage international travel logistics, including visa arrangements and expense reporting (TER), and coach others on related procedures in line with Dow’s policies. + Oversee records management, Delegation of Authority, invoice processing, and budget tracking. + Collaborate across teams to resolve challenges and foster a positive, inclusive work environment. + Serve as a role model for other administrative professionals by sharing best practices and offering guidance. Qualifications + Minimum of eight years’ experience in senior administrative roles in an international environment. + Apprenticeship in business administration, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent education. Skills + Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and sound judgment. + High level of assertiveness and self-motivation. + Discreet and trustworthy, with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German. + Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. + Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across diverse teams. + Proficient in digital tools and MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams). + Familiarity with Dow systems (e.g. SharePoint, Delegation of Authority, Diamond Systems, SAP) or a strong willingness to learn.
