Job Description:

This Engineer - Excavator Software Validation role within Caterpillar’s Excavation Division (EXD) is dedicated to delivering the high-quality software and software package to customers through best validation planning and execution. This position leverages a proven set of validation skills, product knowledge and practical experience in the validation/design under strong communication with cross-functional business partners. 

In addition, this role is highly focused on working for process improvement of overall software lifecycle by utilizing multiple platforms. 

Job Duties:

Lead planning and execution of software and its package validation, and analyzing the test result.Participate in the development project as software validation lead.Develop software validation specifications based upon the requirements.Troubleshoot the software bug/issue with related teams.Lead the software development/validation process improvement activities.Collaborate with worldwide business partners.

Required Qualifications:

Knowledge and experience in accredited Engineering or Computer Science program.Experience in programming and scripting languages commonly used in software development workflows, including areas such as automation, configuration, and data handling.Strong communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience with designing and/or validating software.HEX product development and/or quality/validation experience.Technical details knowledge in electronics and technologies embedded on HEX.Fluent English communication skills.
