About the Role

 

BHP is currently seeking passionate Excavator, Loader, and Dozer Operators to join our world-class Production teams for current and upcoming opportunities at Jimblebar.

Successful applicants will have a minimum of two years' mining experience in any of the following roles:

 

MineStar Autonomous Field Builder

Production Excavator Operator

Production Dozer Operator

Production Loader Operator

 

Ideally, candidates will also have experience with (but not limited to) the following equipment:

 

Liebherr 9400 & 996 Excavators or equivalents

CAT D10 or D11 Track Dozers

CAT 994 Loader

WA1200 Komatsu Loaders

 

About You

 

Reporting to the Mining Supervisor within our Mining teams, we are looking for candidates who demonstrate:

 

A team-oriented mindset, helping to influence and shape a safe, productive, sustainable, and disciplined work culture

A positive can-do attitude with a strong passion for safety and improving mining efficiencies

A minimum of two years' experience in production mining

Computer literacy with experience in MineStar or Modular Fleet Management Systems

Experience operating or working as a Field Builder within an Autonomous Mine (highly regarded)

Proven experience operating production excavators, dozers, and loaders

Flexibility, strong communication skills, and a team-first approach

A current unrestricted C Class Driver’s License (essential)
