Responsibilities
The Supervisor is responsible for assisting in planning, directing and coordinating operational and personnel activities to ensure the provision of quality services to meet the needs of those served by his/her area(s) of responsibility and scope of role. Leadership is provided based on the Mayo Clinic Health System Franciscan Healthcare (MCHS-FH) mission, vision, and values. The role includes ongoing collaboration and communication utilizing shared goal setting and decision making with physicians, associate providers, department staff and multidisciplinary team members. The Supervisor will maintain a professional environment and on-going development of his/herself and staff. The Supervisor applies current leadership and management theories to daily management of team. Assists in the development and implementation of operational plans.
Qualifications
One year supervisory experience in an environmental services related field. High School graduate or equivalent. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Basic computer knowledge.Knowledge of and experience with continuous quality improvement and change management processes. Experience in a multidisciplinary, collaborative setting. Demonstrates strong leadership skills and communication. Supervisory/Leadership experience with progressive increase in responsibilities preferred. Valid driver's license.
