**2nd Shift EVS Aide** **Job Description** As an EVS Aide, you will be responsible for ensuring a clean and sanitary environment within the hospital. You will be trained in floor care techniques such as stripping, buffing, and waxing floors. Your role will involve cleaning patient rooms after discharges, maintaining cleanliness in bathrooms, and working closely with nurses in a hospital setting. **Responsibilities** + Clean and maintain patient rooms, including removing trash, mopping floors, and handling laundry. + Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, elevators, and hallways. + Read and complete work orders, including tasks such as trash removal and addressing spill requests. + Perform janitorial duties including sanitizing, wiping surfaces, biohazard removal, and general cleaning tasks. **Essential Skills** + Experience in janitorial duties, housekeeping, and custodial work. + Proficiency in cleaning, sanitizing, mopping, and wiping surfaces. + Ability to handle trash and biohazard removal. + Strong customer service skills. + Fluent English speaking skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 1 year of experience in high-volume settings such as hospitals, hotels, schools, or office buildings preferred but not required. **Why Work Here?** Join one of the largest health systems in the country, offering opportunities for growth and development within a network of over 70 hospitals.
