**Job Title: EVS Aide - Janitor** **Job Description** This position is based in Apple Valley and entails the responsibility for cleaning and maintaining various areas within a hospital setting. You will be tasked with cleaning rooms after patient discharges, cleaning bathrooms, and receiving training on proper floor care techniques, including stripping, buffing, and waxing. The role also involves collaborating with nurses and working in an environment where exposure to blood, urine, and vomit is possible. **Responsibilities** + Clean and maintain patient rooms, including trash removal, linen cleaning, floor mopping, and laundry tasks. + Perform janitorial duties such as sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting. + Clean common areas including lobbies, elevators, and hallways. + Read and complete work orders for tasks like trash removal and spill requests. + Provide excellent customer service in all interactions. **Essential Skills** + Housekeeping and janitorial experience. + Customer service oriented. + Strong English speaking skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + One year of high volume experience in environments such as hospitals, hotels, schools, office buildings, sports arenas, or amusement parks is preferred but not required. + Military, barista, or general labor experience can be beneficial. + Experience with environmental services and sanitation preferred. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic and fast-paced department where your contributions are valued and your work is essential to maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
