Finance Controller
We are looking for a new colleague who will join our office in Budapest as a Finance Controller

What is the job about?

This role focuses on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting while ensuring accurate reporting and cost analysis. It supports stakeholder’s decisions by providing insights on profitability, business drivers, and by improving controlling tools.

Your main responsibilities:

Providing support for responsible departments Planning (Budget / Forecast) of all cost elements and alignment with responsible departments Execution of the yearly profit-, balance sheet- and investment planning, as well as the monthly forecasting for the assigned departments Participation in the monthly, quarterly and year end closing activities Monitorin cost allocation and optimizing profitability across projects Analyzing business drivers and recommending performance improvement actions Explaining financial performance to stakeholders and supporting decision making Delivering ad-hoc analysis to support stakeholders Working closely with operations to analyze the accuracy and validity of reported financial data Improving and developing controlling and reporting tools

Your background:

University degree in finance (Business Management, Economics, Finance) Experience in a Finance controlling role (3 years or more) Strong analytical skills and ability to present insights clearly Very good knowledge of Excel SAP knowledge and other database knowledge is an advantage Fluent German or English language skills Independent and analytical way of working as well as confident occurrence Proactive, self-responsible way of working with high quality standards Strong communication and team skills as well as high affinity for numbers
