Converting- EVOL Operator 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

Operates EVOL machine, sets to proper length customers specifications.

SAFETY PROCEDURES:

Read and understand SAFETYRULES & HOUSEKEEPING GUIDELINES and receive training in proper operating procedures

Receive instructions in the following:

 

Lockout proceduresHearing protectionSafety shoesMoving machinery & start up notificationAll stop buttonsAll nip pointsConveyor safetyLifting and pushing/pullingSafety guards, gates & chains

HOUSEKEEPING:

Perform daily cleanup of areaDump trash as neededPerform extra clean up during downtimeFollowing cleaning scheduling listed in Safety ManualKeep scrap picked up

MANUFACTURING PROCESS:

A: Read & use Factory Order, Web Line Up & EVOL Run

Sheet & Cutting List

B. Ability to know if equipment is operating properly

Know different grades of paper & when records

Maintain production & traceability records

Set up & perform dry end role

Program EVOL machine for correct unit count
