Events - Trainee

Welcome to Thompson Madrid, where we care for people so they can bring out their best selves. Will you join our family?

We are continuing to grow and are looking to add someone to our team who wants to experience three of our hotel's departments from a 360-degree perspective.

What will your day-to-day internship look like?

• You will participate in event quoting, meaning you will be in contact with suppliers and/or clients via email and phone.

• You will support the coordination of events and groups interested in using our hotel spaces, organizing the pre-event phase, the execution itself, and the post-event follow-up.

• You will follow up on quotes sent to companies and/or individuals, answering related questions and providing updates.

• There is also an administrative component to the role: generating reports, updating our systems, handling reservation routing, and issuing proforma invoices to clients and/or suppliers.

• You will participate in site inspections with clients to ensure everything meets their needs, addressing inquiries and suggestions for improvement to ensure impeccable service.

What do we need from you?

• You must be able to sign an internship agreement with your school or educational institution for a full-time internship (40 hours per week). (This is mandatory.)

• Studies related to Protocol, Event Planning, and Corporate Communication.

• Advanced level of English (this will be assessed during the interview).

• Your attitude is what matters most: we are looking for someone curious, detail-oriented, and—above all—a team player.

• An interest in travel and the hospitality industry is a plus.
