Events Planner (004035)

Plans for upcoming events, including Projects for Peace 20th anniversary. This is a part time position requiring 5-10 hours per week from August 2025 - June 2026.

This is considered a part-time, hourly, non-benefits eligible position. The minimum starting rate for the position is $19.92 per hour.

Core Responsibilities:

​​Follow and refine any existing standard operating procedures for events planning for Projects for Peace, Center for Community Engagement, and Middlebury College. ​Develop themes and an initial workplan for celebrating Projects for Peace 20th anniversary with an event or series of events in 2027. ​Track task completion, registration, supplies, and website updates, as assigned. ​Create budgets, tracks expenses, and ensures cost effectiveness, as assigned. ​Coordinate with colleagues and student interns to ensure key tasks are complete. ​Represent Projects for Peace with partner stakeholders, other Middlebury offices, and vendors, ensure timely communication. ​Meet regularly with Projects for Peace Director​
