Job Description Summary

The Events Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of live events across the Americas, hybrid and virtual as needed. This role partners closely with marketing and business stakeholders to ensure events reflect Cushman & Wakefield’s brand standards and business objectives. The ideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented event professional who excels in logistics, vendor coordination, and delivering high-quality attendee experiences.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Event Planning & Coordination

Support the planning and execution of corporate events, client programs, exhibitions, and sponsorship activationsCoordinate event logistics including venue research, catering, transportation, activities, branding, AV needs, and on-site supportAssist in developing event timelines, production schedules, and team checklistsEnsure event plans align with brand guidelines and broader marketing initiatives.

Event Execution

Manage day-to-day event tasks including registration setup, attendee communications, staffing schedules, and vendor coordinationSupport tradeshow preparation including booth logistics, collateral needs, applications, and compliance documentationManage and execute event collateral production, branded merchandise, signage, and shipments.

Budget & Vendor Management

Manage assigned portions of event budgets and support reconciliation processesObtain vendor quotes, process purchase orders, and assist with contract review and procurement workflowsTrack expenses and provide budget updates to senior team members.

Technology & Tools

Deep understanding and usage of event management and communication platforms such as Stova, Cvent, Concep, and Teams to support registration, campaigns, and reportingMaintain event documents, templates, and shared tools to support team operationsHelp maintain the Americas event calendar for team visibility.

Stakeholder Support & Collaboration

Partner with corporate marketing, business development, and other internal teams to ensure smooth event executionCommunicate event timelines, deliverables, and logistics to stakeholdersBuild strong relationships with external vendors and partners.

Measurement & Reporting

Support post-event measurement, including collecting attendee feedback, summarizing performance metrics, and capturing lessons learnedContribute insights that help improve future event experiences.

Administrative & Operational Support

Assist with inventory, shipping, invoicing, and preparing event documentationEnsure brand consistency in materials, signage, and presentationsProvide coordination support for junior staff or temporary assistants during major events.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field5+ years of corporate event experience with focus on live eventsDemonstrated experience supporting or managing a portfolio of 5+ recurring complex in-person events per yearProven experience owning event budgets and vendor contracts, including sourcing, negotiating, and managing spend against targets.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and collaboration toolsProficiency with core event and marketing tools, such as an event platform (for example, Cvent, Stova)Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting prioritiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and with cross-functional teamsAbility and willingness to travel regularly for events (approximately 25–30 percent during peak seasons) and work occasional evenings and weekends based on the event calendar.CMP or similar certification is a plusCommercial real estate industry knowledge is a plus.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $ 81,600.00 - $96,000.00
