**The Role**
The Events Executive will work as a team member to create the most professional sales team in Amman and Hyatt International Hotels. To meet and exceed sales targets set in the monthly and yearly forecasts and to direct all efforts to maximizing the hotel’s revenues and profits.
As an Events Executive, you will be reporting directly to the Director of Events and below are some of the **Key Responsibilities:**
· Ensure that all credit and collection procedures that have been established by the hotel are implemented following the established Credit Policies & Procedures.
· Develop an organized and efficient system for managing administration paper work including records, reports, budgets, traces, follow up and other documentation so as they can be found quickly and easily
· Ensure that an accurate and efficient filing system (electronic & manual) is maintained at all times
· Exercise due care and professionalism in handling telephone enquiries, and to provide a positive first impression of Grand Hyatt in the form by adopting customer centred friendly tone
· Ensure that all catering contracts follow the established hotel policies and procedures and are based on sound commercial judgement
· Ensure that the catering team projects a warm, professional and welcome image
· Attend Sales and events meetings, as required
· Answer customer queries in a prompt and professional manner
· Make sure that all meetings are well planned, efficient and results oriented.
**Due to local labor law restrictions, applicants must hold work authorization for Jordan, namely a Jordanian ID**

+ Excellent communication skills across all mediums - presentation, telephone correspondence.
+ Eager to learn, grow and further develop own career.
+ Hospitality experience is a plus.
