Allied Universal® Event Services is hiring a General Manager. The General Manager is responsible for direct oversight, compliance, and general positive direction of staff for the assigned branch and accounts within the designated mega market area. The role of the General Manager is to ensure operational, budgetary, and client needs are satisfactorily rendered and consistent across the designated branch and accounts. The General Manager will facilitate and foster positive long-lasting relationships with current and future clients, responding and reacting to their needs, concerns, and expectations. The General Manager is tasked with facilitating this client feedback to the designated account managers to incorporate and facilitate necessary structural and operational changes to increase client retention and satisfaction. The General Manager will assist with guidance, mentoring, coaching, and counseling for the assigned branch operational management staff.

The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $100,000 plus auto allowance of $195/per pay period with 20 % bonus potential.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure proper branch monitoring and adherence to required Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Branch performance in the key areas of (1) Revenue $, (2) Gross Profit Margin %, (3) Indirect Costs %$, (4) EBITDA %$, and (5) CollectionsSelection and placement of direct reports; design and implement career development and performance improvement plansIn partnership with Branch Manager and Recruiting Team, ensure proper staffing levels of qualified, competent, and professional staff designated accountsEnsure scheduling practices and procedures are being adhered to in order to ensure client orders are fulfilled in a timely fashion using the work ticket process In WinTeamAct as client liaison point of contact for key assigned accounts within the area of responsibility through effective client relationships pertinent to the operational and fiscal success of the branchConduct routine compliance assessments of branch and accounts, including branch/ account management, administration, licensing, and supervision as well as client satisfaction and makes recommendations on any necessary course corrections to improve the overall performance of the branchConduct regular operational meetings with designated account managers and associated pertinent staff on key success topics for the marketEnsure policies and procedures are being properly disseminated and followed at all pertinent levels; coordinate and align Allied Universal existing policy into the unique event-based industry standards of which Allied Universal Event Services is engaged withinAct as an ambassador and liaison between Allied Universal Event Services and major current and future clients; visibility at major events is critical to oversight roleMaintain constant communication with Senior Leadership team regarding client issues or concerns, leadership performance issues, client complaints, budgetary/ fiscal issues, or other important facts related to the branch and any of the accounts in the specified areaAssist with the ongoing development and modification of a detailed Operations Guide in conjunction with the other departmental function headsFoster positive relationships with labor partners, as well as group labor and military, with the end goal of developing and maintaining a reliable network of skilled and trained labor resources in the regionApprove invoices submitted by management staffPromote Allied Universal Event Services’ Grooming and Appearance Policy and Uniform StandardsRoutinely require and review, for day-to-day field operations and consistent delivery of service, all Critical Basic Tasks (CBTs), including but not limited to: Event Box, DES Sheet, Deployment Sheets, Post Orders, etc.Ensure proper briefings are conducted before each shift, and that proper information reaches employeesEnsure all labor laws are being adhered to (rest and meal periods executed per law, check-in/check-out procedure is followed, etc.) for all events responsible forEnsure paperwork is completed per policy (incident reports, workers’ compensation filings, etc.) and is turned in, along with the event file, to the Office ManagerOversee all field operations programs and eventsEnsure ongoing training is completed per company standards and applicable lawsHandle and resolve client, employee, and customer complaints

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

Must possess one or more of the following:Bachelor’s Degree in criminal justice, sales, marketing, business administration, or hospitalityHigh school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years of security management experienceLicensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employmentMinimum of three (3) years of experience in the event industry or other service-related industry working at large scale sporting venuesMinimum of three (3) years of security management experienceDemonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlinesProven track record of excellence in customer service and financial management (awards, top rankings, etc.)Dedication to high quality customer service delivery and integrity through proven client and customer relationshipsHighly effective leader with the ability to build strong relationships internally with all levels of the organization and manage under difficult service delivery timeframesWillingness to attend professional networking or community events in the eveningsHighly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize all available office management technologyProfessional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretionOutstanding oral and written communication skills; ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients, while functioning as a team player

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

Law enforcement and/or military experienceExperience in scheduling, operations, or other functions of security industry
