We are now inviting a dynamic, hands-on, and service-oriented **Event Service Team Leader (Banquet Supervisor)** with a strong background and experience in events, conferences, and meetings to join our enthusiastic and passionate team at Grand Hyatt Bali.
The **Event Service Team Leader** will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of events, conferences, and meetings. This role ensures smooth coordination between the team and other departments to deliver high-quality service and guest satisfaction. The Event Service Supervisor also handles guest inquiries and operational issues in a courteous and efficient manner, ensuring prompt follow-up and resolution when needed.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Supports the Event Service Manager in overseeing daily banquet operations to ensure all functions are executed smoothly and according to standards.
* Supervises the banquet team to deliver exceptional service in line with Hyatt’s brand promise.
* Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
* Assists in managing setup, service, and breakdown of all events, ensuring efficiency and attention to detail.
* Monitors and maintains the cleanliness and organization of all event areas.
* Provides on-the-job training and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and service quality.
* Handles guest feedback and reports operational challenges to the manager with proposed solutions.
* Ensures all equipment and materials are used efficiently and properly maintained.
* Upholds high standards of grooming, personal presentation, and professional conduct at all times.
**Qualifications:**
**Qualifications** :
* Minimum 1 year of experience as a Banquet or Event Service Supervisor in a large 5-star luxury hotel or resort.
* Strong operational knowledge in handling large events, conferences, or meetings.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
* Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Detail-oriented, organized, and guest-focused.
* Familiarity with systems such as INFRASYS, HOTSOS, and BIRCHSTREET will be an advantage.
* Diploma or equivalent qualification in Hospitality or related fields.
