The Event Sales Manager is responsible for selling weddings and events. Primary sales efforts are in Banquet Food and Beverage with a small focus on Group Room Nights and includes menu planning, agenda setting and hotel meeting services. Duties also include contract review, negotiations and business development. The Event Sales Manager will host hotel tours, maintain strong customer relationships, participate and may lead event meetings and other team meetings, and work as a team member, including the support team, within the sales, marketing and events team and all other functions of the hotel. **Wage Information:** The starting salary for this position is $80,168.40 which is applicable for the first year of employment. The entire range for the position is $80,168.40 to $86,600. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, including experience, qualifications and education.
