Expected pay for this position is $29.01 - $34.13/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: The Event Planner coordinates the planning, development, and execution of events across OSF HealthCare. This includes utilizing project management skills, excellent organizational ability, and leadership qualities. This role works closely with members of the Marketing & Communications team to ensure efficiency and consistency in supporting the strategic goals of OSF HealthCare. The Event Planner will demonstrate outstanding customer service, be a positive, enthusiastic professional, and be able to build lasting relationships with internal and external partners. Night and weekend work required at times, along with the ability to travel to any OSF location (Illinois and Michigan).
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelors
Experience:
3 years' experience in event planningExperience handling multiple projects and work assignments, with little supervisionExperience in preparing accurate budgets and effectively managing expenses Experience with public speaking
Other skills/knowledge:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or related field
Experience: Knowledge of event management technologies and customer relationship management software Working knowledge of audio visual equipment
