As an Event Planner on the Wealth Management team, you will plan roadshow style events with repeatable formats in addition to unique networking experiences - you'll listen to the desired outcome of an event and start to envision an event that can bring that to life. We are seeking a responsible, organized and creative event planner for J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. Working alongside event strategists, you will be responsible for all event planning logistics resulting in high-caliber events for clients and prospects.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Source, recommend, and book venues that match the desired experience, while staying organized.
+ Manage all event logistics, including contracting, menus, AV, decor, swag, and invitation creation - with a focus on efficiency but still have room for creativity!
+ Coordinate with vendors and service providers for seamless event execution including set-up/break-down - act with empowerment to manage an event onsite independently
+ Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
+ Track and manage event budgets and expenses.
+ Develop contingency plans for event risks (e.g., weather, vendor issues).
+ Manage guest registration and check-in processes - this is the first
+ Maintain a repository of preferred vendors and venues for future use.
+ Support post-event logistics, such as shipping swag or materials, and reconciling invoices.
**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
+ 2+ years experience in event planning
+ Must be able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
+ Excellent organizational and operational skills with an extreme level of detail
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and communicate clearly amongst a variety of personalities
+ Stay on top of event production trends
+ Strong proficiency working in Microsoft Products (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
