Job Description

The Event Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all aspects of events, from conception through completion. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning & Execution:

Plan, organize, and execute events such as conferences, weddings, corporate meetings, exhibitions, and social gatherings.

Collaborate with clients to understand event goals, themes, and budget.

Develop detailed event proposals, timelines, and budgets.

Coordination & Logistics:

Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.

Book venues, arrange catering, transportation, equipment, and entertainment.

Manage event set-up, on-site execution, and post-event breakdown.

Team Management:

Lead and supervise event staff, including temporary and contract workers.

Conduct briefings to ensure staff are informed of event details and responsibilities.

Client Communication:

Serve as the primary contact for clients before, during, and after events.

Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.

Budget & Reporting:

Monitor event budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.

Prepare post-event reports including analysis of outcomes and areas for improvement.

Additional Information

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or related field.

3–5 years of experience in event planning or management.

Strong project management and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.

Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
