For information about ABM’s benefits,** ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) (https://wpe-media.abm.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/ABM\_2025\_Employee\_Benefits\_Frontline\_Spanish\_v2\_9.5.24.pdf) The Event Cleaner provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area. **Basic Qualifications:** • Must be 18 years of age or older • 1-3 years of experience required and on the job training provided • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required **Preferred Qualifications:** • Customer service experience • 1-3 years of similar work experience **Responsibilities:** • Clean and maintain buildings/facilities • Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures • Notify Manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc. • Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities • Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment • Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas, either manually or by using hand trucks • Gather and empty trash • Sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow or perform other incidental seasonal tasks • Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas • Service, clean, and supply restrooms + Dropping off tables, chairs and other items to each campus + Read work orders + Requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties + Drives vehicles (if required) to perform or travel to cleaning work, including vans, industrial trucks, or industrial vacuum cleaners + May be expected to make basic repairs + Miscellaneous duties as assigned A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
