Location: Trenton, MO

Employment Type: Full-time

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.

Are you a compassionate and detail-oriented mental health professional committed to making a difference in the lives of individuals across all age groups? Join our team at Preferred Family Healthcare as an Evaluator!

As an Evaluator, you will conduct comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations, establish treatment plans and provisional diagnoses, and make referral recommendations within our programs. You may also engage in safety planning and provide brief therapy sessions as needed. With approval, this role may include providing clinical supervision to trainees. Responsibilities may vary depending on departmental needs.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct screenings and assessments to determine service eligibility and appropriateness

Develop treatment plans and provisional diagnoses

Make internal program referrals and coordinate follow-up care

Provide brief therapy sessions and safety planning as needed

Participate in crisis intervention and emergency services

Maintain accurate and timely client documentation

Adhere to operational guidelines and professional ethics

Meet collaborative service goals and ensure adequate direct client care

Stay informed about internal programs and community resources

Participate in peer reviews, departmental meetings, and staff development

Support management with data collection, program evaluation, and grant applications

Deliver educational materials in public forums to promote mental health awareness

Comply with Quality Assurance, Compliance, and Revenue Cycle procedures

Complete required trainings and evaluations

Report critical incidents to supervising leadership

Perform other duties as assigned by department leadership

Education and Experience Qualifications

Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field required

State licensure required for practice location, including one of the following:

LP, PLP, LPC, PLPC, LCSW, LMSW, PLMFT, or PLMFT

Additional Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills with diverse populations

Ability to perform basic mathematical operations

Logical problem-solving and instruction-following skills
