About Us
Spectrum Eval partners with Qualified Medical Evaluators (QMEs) who provide independent medical assessments for workers’ compensation cases. Our Evaluation Assistants ensure each evaluation runs smoothly, professionally, and on schedule — supporting both doctors and patients throughout the process.
Position Summary
The Evaluation Assistant (EA) is responsible for assisting doctors during medical evaluations, preparing office spaces, managing patient paperwork, performing basic measurements, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and properly submitted.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone detail-oriented, reliable, and interested in the medical-administrative field.
Key Responsibilities
? Arrive 1 hour prior to the first appointment to prepare the evaluation site.
? Set up exam rooms, post the doctor’s certificate, disarm alarms, and ensure cleanliness.
? Greet patients and interpreters, verify IDs, and confirm attendance.
? Perform and record basic patient measurements (e.g., limb circumference, grip strength).
? Ensure patient intake forms, Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), and pain diagrams are completed
? Upload and organize documentation via Genius Scan and Google Drive or directly through our website
? Communicate with Account Managers and notify them of arrivals, “no-shows,” or any site issues.
? Clean and reset rooms between evaluations and lock up after the day is complete.
Qualifications
? High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or higher preferred).
? Prior experience in a medical, clinical, or administrative setting is a plus.
? Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to assigned offices.
? Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
? Proficient using smartphones, scanning apps, and Google Drive.
? Professional, dependable, and punctual.
? Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
? Ability to stand or move for extended periods.
? Lift or carry up to 25 lbs of equipment/supplies.
