EUV International System Install Engineer

Role and responsibilities

You will play a key role in delivering fully tested and qualified lithography systems at our clients located around the world. You will receive cross-training in diverse technical activities, providing you with hands-on experience in unique cleanroom environments.

 As an International System Install Engineer you will:

Work in accordance with the installation sequence and installation procedures, always maintaining a safety-first mindset in day-night shift schedule (12-hour rotations) at customer sites around the world.

Perform tests (calibrations and system qualification) to ensure equipment qualification to deliver quality, gaining valuable hands-on experience on ASML’s latest EUV lithography systems

Troubleshoot and solve system failures and demonstrate self-reliance in challenging situations

Take ownership, lead a shift to deliver quality

Manage technical escalations and contribute to the improvement loop of our lithography machines and processes

Represent ASML at the customer site in a professional way

When not working abroad: support factory operations in Veldhoven with installation related activities, continue improvement loop, and provide technical knowledge transfer

Education and experience

To help us tackle the technical challenges we face, we would like you to bring the following educational background and experience:

A bachelor’s or master’s degree (Mechatronics/Automotive/Aero-Space/Mechanical/Electrical preferred);

Knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, vacuum systems, and optics;

Knowledge of or experience with electrical wiring/fibers (preferred);

Practical hands-on experience gained through previous work, projects, labs, internships, or student teams (e.g. assembly, prototyping, troubleshooting);

Excellent communication in English, both verbal as well as written;

A valid driver’s license;

Other information

For this position, the indicative (fixed) annual salary range is between €57,000 – €64,000. This range comprises vacation allowance and a 13th-month payment. Company profit sharing and shift allowance (if applicable) are not included in this range. The actual compensation offered will depend on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: job-related skills, relevant education and (work) experience, certifications, demonstrated abilities of the candidate, pay relative to other team members. This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
