About the role:
The EU DR Trading Support Analyst is responsible for the EU DR administrative activities for a defined list of Third party suppliers of Cocoa products and/or ingredients. She/He will report to the Lead of Sourcing EU DR support.
Key responsibilities:
+ The EU DR Trading supportruns the annual supplier risk assessmentsfor suppliers attributed to her/him and ensures the timely completion of the annual process:
o Launch supplier risk assessments for those suppliers assigned
o Request relevant document, sign off and data
o Interact and follow up with Suppliers
o Collaborate with other BC functions such as Responsible Sourcing team to allow timely completion of the annual assessments
o Communicate the result of Supplier risk assessment to respective Sourcing team
+ The EU DR Trading support isresponsible for the timely upload of all polygons, farmer, DDS and batch datathat are provided the suppliers assigned to her/him before contracting and shipment/arrival of goods:
o Assess data quality before upload of data
o Upload the actual data into Azure system
o Interact and follow up with Suppliers
o Collaborate with other BC functions such as Thriving Nature team to allow timely deforestation assessments
+ The EU DR Trading support is incharge of confirming to his assigned suppliers EU DR readiness for planned shipments/deliveriesto BC premises
o Oversee the outcome of EU DR batch assessments for assigned suppliers
o Communicate the EU DR batch assessment result to Suppliers and respective Sourcing team
o Collaborate with other BC functions such as Supply Chain Western Europe and factory teams to allow timely processing of shipments and deliveries as well as goods receipt at factories
o Manage exception handling at shipment/goods arrival for assigned suppliers
+ The EU DR Tradingsupport is supporting - on request - the Regional Combined Ratio WE team
o Manage document collection and support commercial assessment for the Supplier Approval Process
o Collect and analyze data for Supplier Evaluation process
o Coordinate and support the handling of non-conformity process
o Support administration of Sourcing contracts
o Ensure effective collaboration with other BC functions such as Global Supplier quality team to timely approve and evaluate suppliers
About You:
+ 1-3 years’ experience in any role related to the supply chain; cocoa market will be an added advantage
+ Knowledge of analytical/statistical software (advanced Excel, SQL)
+ Experience working with opensource formats like geojson, geopackages, etc.
+ Experience with GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS) is a plus
+ Git experience and knowledge would be appreciated.
+ Experience in using and reporting from SAP and other databases, experience in database design a plus
+ Good knowledge in data management and to manage large data
+ Proficiency in MS Office application
+ Strong analytical and critical skills to ensure excellence in data and consistency in KPI reporting
+ Experience with designing or working in sustainable KPI frameworks
+ Independence and quick learning ability
+ Ability to explain complex reporting processes to end users with strong coaching and training skills
+ Experience in cocoa or other tropical commodities is a real plus
+ Experience with small holder agricultural empowerment programs will be a plus
+ Fluent English, French and/or Spanish will be a plus
