Job Description

As a ETO Order Engineering Lead, you and your team will be responsible for defining, designing, and implementing modifications to our Independent Cart Technologies based on customer requirements. You will also be responsible for preparing studies and analyzing existing systems to reduce risk and determine what modifications will be needed.

You will report to ETO Order Engineering Management and will work onsite at Rockwell office location in East Setauket, United States of America.

Primary Responsibilities:

Talk with customer to understand their special requirementsTroubleshoot Mechanical systemsWork directly and lead a small team on the customization of standard products to meet specific customer needsCreate Designs, Drawings, BOM'sWork with suppliers and internal manufacturing teams to produce and test custom solutionsWork with Project Management, Purchasing, Planning to meet timelinesPartner with our Performance Engineering team to improve product costs, and solve obsolescence issues

Essential Qualifications: You must have

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work ExperienceLegal authorization to work in the United States is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job openingTravel less than 10% of time

Preferred Qualifications: You can have

5+ years of management experience.Experience with precision motion control systems and/or linear servo motorsExperience with manufacturing methodologies such as CNC machining, casting, and extrusionsPTC Creo and WIndChill experienceUse FEA and DFSS to improve for performance and costDesign, analyze and the ability troubleshoot issues with electromechanical systemsPresent analysis and test data to internal staff and customersExperience working in group settings to meet project goals
