At CGI, we’re hiring an ETL Developer – L2 Support to join an international banking sector project.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Conversational English (B2 or higher).
- 4–6 years of proven experience in Data Quality, Data Transformation, and Data Processing.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer with hands-on expertise in Azure Data Factory, including but not limited to ingestion, data flows, monitoring, machine learning services, database services, and storage services.
- Experience with Python and advanced SQL.
- Strong knowledge of various databases, including MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.
- Solid hands-on experience implementing and optimizing ETL pipelines.
- Availability to occasionally work extended hours (nights and/or weekends).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement ETL processes for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data integrity.
- Analyze and troubleshoot integration-related issues, providing technical support and ensuring timely incident resolution.
- Perform thorough testing to ensure integrations work correctly and without errors before production deployment.
- Ensure all data integrations comply with applicable security standards and regulations, protecting sensitive and confidential data.
