**The Opportunity**
This position works at İstanbul location and reports to Associate OEC Director, MEPT.
**What You’ll Do**
+ Development and implementation of an effective Compliance Program in Turkey including adoption and following periodical review of the Compliance Policies and Procedures.
+ Provision of continuous guidance and support on strategic projects and initiatives to the Sales and Commercial teams ensure compliance with local policies, trade association codes, local legislation, corporate and local ethical standards, etc.
+ Directing and administration of regular trainings and communications: on-boarding for new employees (Code of Conduct, Anti-Corruption, Compliance Policies), communication letters to employees, etc.;
+ Updating management teams on current compliance matters and trends;
+ Conducting monitoring process to ensure adequate controls over major business activities (professional services, donations, grants, expense reports, sponsorships of events, etc.);
+ Conducting data analysis and be able to identify the key risk elements with a remediation action plan, as needed;
+ Preparation and participation in the quarterly Affiliate Compliance Committees (ACCs) meetings, facilitation of open discussion between key affiliate stakeholders (GMs, Finance, HR, Legal, Medical & Regulatory);
+ 3rd Party Due Diligence - support of the program aimed to increase knowledge about the third parties (e.g. guidance and mitigation of potential red flags);
+ Data Privacy and Transparency: support the affiliate with implementation of Turkey data privacy and transparency regulations.
**Required Qualifications**
+ University degree in Law/ Compliance / Finance
+ 5+ years of relevant experience.
+ Previous work experience in following areas preferred: Compliance, Legal, Finance or Internal Audit in pharmaceutical or medical devices companies.
+ Fluent in English (oral and written)
+ Very good knowledge of the healthcare industry.
+ Strong understanding of relevant local regulations.
+ Sound common sense judgment.
+ Capable of managing competing priorities; Excellent time management & organizational skills.
+ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Well versed in giving presentations and trainings to other colleagues.
+ "Big picture" view and process-oriented thinking.
