About the role:
We are looking for a passionate individual to support and assist the continuous development of Next’s Wholly Owned Brands (Lipsy, Love & Roses and Friends like These) global corporate responsibility strategy and to help improve the compliance of the supply chain sources. This will involve identifying issues, making decisions and reporting on the improvements required and aiding in action plans to achieve the required standards.
Responsibilities:
Auditing
Ensure that the new supplier onboarding and induction process is followed Process New Site Requests (NSR) and factory self-assessments for inclusion in audit planning Complete a risk analysis prior to auditing, based on factory self-assessment Schedule audits and coordinate with the global team as needed. Shadow auditors and train to complete and carry out audits independently. Ensure that critical issues are clearly identified and communicated to the relevant supplier Maintain the SCOP system with site and audit informationCode of Practice Process
Review COP auditing standards and processes for continuous improvement Support suppliers/factories/product teams/global COP team with management of corrective action plans Build and maintain supplier relationships Support in the management of ‘Cat 4-6’ rated factories across the Wholly Owned Brands; liaising with relevant product teams and global COP team colleagues to ensure appropriate action is taken and internal records are maintained Departmental admin support tasks Participate in relevant project work which supports the company’s ethical and corporate responsibility approach Support in the onboarding of new Wholly Owned Brands - Ensuring a smooth transition of suppliers and factories into the businessReports
Help to analyse contract assigning reports to track suppliers/buying teams who are not providing accurate supply chain information. Update internal systems with COP systems with audit new factories and updated COP data. Liaise with suppliers who have not assigned factories to contracts according to business requirements Attend and contribute relevant updates to COP UK team meetings Produce and manage supplier and factory analysis reporting for review with buying teams.
