You understand how these technologies integrate into customer platforms and are excited about their potential to transform industries. **What you’ll do:** + **Standards Representation & Advocacy:** Represent Tektronix in Ethernet standards bodies—including IEEE 802.3, OIF, UALink, Ethernet Alliance, and OPEN Alliance (Automotive Ethernet)—actively contributing to working groups to influence and shape test requirements and compliance programs. + **Solution Architecting & Technology Alignment:** Lead the design and architecture of validation solutions that align with Ethernet standards ensuring Tektronix’s offerings address compliance, interoperability, and performance requirements. + **Strategic Partnerships & Industry Engagement:** Build strong relationships with industry stakeholders—semiconductor vendors, OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, datacenter providers—to drive collaborative technology development and ensure customer validation needs are met. + **Product & Marketing Strategy:** Leverage insights from standards activities, competitor analysis, and customer engagement to inform Tektronix’s product strategy and positioning in Ethernet test. + **Problem Solving & Customer Focus:** Partner with customers to address validation challenges for high-speed links, in-vehicle networking, and interoperability testing. Translate customer insights into innovative solutions and provide technical support throughout adoption. + **Thought Leadership & Technical Content:** Publish technical papers, present at standards and industry conferences, and create influential technical content that positions Tektronix as a leader in Ethernet validation. + **Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration:** Mentor and lead engineers while collaborating with Product Management, R&D, Sales, and Marketing to ensure solutions align with market and technical needs. **Minimum Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field. + 8+ years in high-speed data interfaces or networking technologies, with strong validation expertise in Ethernet (high-speed and/or automotive). + Proven experience participating in industry standards bodies (IEEE 802.3, OPEN Alliance, OIF) with understanding of how standards shape ecosystems. + Hands-on experience with High Speed and/or Low speed Ethernet compliance and protocol validation using oscilloscopes, BERTs, AWGs, and compliance automation software. + Strong analytical skills to connect technical details to market and product strategy. + Excellent communication skills for representing Tektronix in external forums. + Passion for Ethernet technologies and advancing standards through collaboration. + Travel up to 25-30% for standards meetings, customer engagements, and industry events. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience in the semiconductor or automotive industries. + Strong knowledge of Ethernet physical layer and protocol specifications (10BASE-T1S, 100/1000BASE-T1, 2.5G/5G/10G, 50G/100G/400G/800G Ethernet, TSN). + Optical Ethernet/optical interconnect experience is a plus. + Prior experience driving compliance programs or interoperability test events. + Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across product, engineering, and marketing. + Technical publication record in Ethernet-related conferences or journals. \#LI-RB **Ralliant Corporation Overview** Ralliant, originally part of Fortive, now stands as a bold, independent public company driving innovation at the forefront of precision technology.
