Job Title: Estimator
We are seeking a highly skilled Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inputting information into MBS Software, transferring data to Estimate Summary Excel Spreadsheets, and creating Material Lists for Purchasing. The role requires facilitating the flow of information to deliver projects on time and within budget, while maintaining accurate reporting and management of key deliverables. Cultivating a culture of continuous improvement, superior customer service, and 'Zero Harm' is essential.
Responsibilities
Input information into MBS Software.Transfer data from MBS Software to Estimate Summary Excel Spreadsheet.Create Material Lists for Purchasing.Facilitate the flow of information to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery.Maintain accurate reporting and management of key deliverables.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and superior customer service.Create and ensure a culture of 'Zero Harm' as a top priority.Participate in training on new processes, systems, and techniques.Review and understand project documentation, including building plans, designs, and specifications.Minimize project risks using appropriate procedures and tools.Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and records.Organize, manage, and allocate resources to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.Measure and evaluate project performance.Cultivate positive working relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.Essential Skills
Experience with Metal Building Software.Strong technical skills for learning new tasks and programs.Experience in estimation and working with customers and internal sales teams.Knowledge of construction, construction management, and estimating software.Ability to transfer MBS information to Excel Estimate Summary Sheet.Understanding of PEMB and proper installation methods.Additional Skills & Qualifications
College education preferred but not required depending on experience.Demonstrated leadership and self-starting abilities.Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects concurrently.Positive attitude and strong work ethic.Clear, concise, and professional communication skills.Ability to foster positive relationships with colleagues, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.Work Environment
The first week will involve in-person training, meeting the team, and equipment pick-up. Thereafter, the role is fully remote, ideally working in CST or EST time.
Job Type & Location
Fully remote, will need to travel to FL for first week training but other than that remote.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
