We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estimator to join our team in supporting fire protection system services. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely customer quotes based on inspection findings and vendor inputs. **Key Responsibilities** + **Customer Quote Preparation** : Review inspection reports, vendor quotes, and location history to validate scope and prepare accurate customer quotes. + **Technical Understanding** : Interpret inspection and testing requirements for water-based fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, backflow devices, fire alarms, and special hazard systems in accordance with NFPA codes. + **Vendor Pricing & Negotiation** : Conduct price checks and negotiate with vendors when labor or material markups exceed acceptable thresholds. + **Quote Volume** : Complete between 7–12 quotes daily with precision and efficiency. + **Scheduling** : Coordinate and schedule overtime as needed to meet quoting demands. + **Escalation Protocol** : Promptly escalate quoting issues or critical scopes to the Quoting Lead for resolution. **Qualifications** + Familiarity with NFPA codes and fire protection systems. + Strong analytical and negotiation skills. + Ability to manage high-volume quoting with attention to detail. + Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
