Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Estimator to join our team. This role is open to both mid-level and senior-level professionals who will work closely with existing clients and develop new relationships through industry connections. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing bid packages, pricing, and collaborating with subcontractors. This position offers a long-term opportunity within a family-oriented and stable construction firm that has been an integral part of the Georgetown community for over four decades.

ResponsibilitiesWork closely with current clients and establish new client relationships through previous industry connections.Prepare and manage various bid packages and pricing.Collaborate with subcontractors in general contracting trades for bids and pricing.Use estimating software such as Timberline, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or other relevant tools for take-offs.Bid on large interior projects involving multiple trades.Essential Skills5+ years of experience as a General Contractor Estimator.Experience working with subcontractors in various general contractor trades.Proficiency in using Timberline, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or other relevant estimating software.Proven ability to bid on large interior projects involving all trades.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to speak directly to trades previously bid on and priced.Experience with subcontractors and general contracting trades.Work Environment

Initially, the Estimator will work in the office located in Georgetown, DC, five days a week. Upon demonstrating capability and responsibility, there is potential for a more flexible, hybrid work schedule in the future.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $58.00/hr.
