We are seeking an Estimating Intern to support our estimating department during a transitional period. This is a strong opportunity for someone who is organized, motivated, professional, and interested in learning the construction bidding process from the ground up. The Estimating Intern will work closely with our estimating team and office leadership to help keep bids organized, communicate with customers and contractors, and support daily estimating operations.
ResponsibilitiesAssist with bidding jobs using company templates.Read and interpret construction plans and bid documents with training provided.Email points of contact such as general contractors, homeowners, and other purchasers.Communicate with estimators, managers, and leadership.Help track bid opportunities, deadlines, and follow-up items.Support the estimating department with general administrative and coordination tasks.Essential SkillsGood math skills.Proficiency in Excel.Strong attention to detail.Punctuality and dependability.Professional email correspondence.Clear written and verbal communication.Ability to manage multiple tasks.Organized with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn.Additional Skills & QualificationsInterest in construction, estimating, project management, or business.Experience with Excel, spreadsheets, or construction documents is a plus.Prior office or internship experience is helpful but not required.Work EnvironmentThe work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 4 PM. Training on plan reading and bidding support will be provided, along with templates and systems to work from. The role offers hands-on exposure to real construction projects and estimating workflows, providing an opportunity to grow within a well-established company.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
