Role Profile:
To work with the support of a Senior Surveyor within IPM, assisting in the management of a large, diverse geographical portfolio for a large retail client.
Responsibilities:
To support the Estates Management Team with the delivery of day to day property management mattersTo undertake, Applications for Consent, on behalf of an occupier client with limited supervisionLiaising with C&W’s internal Accounts Team on the payment of rents and service chargesLiaising with landlords and third parties on minor issues and escalating to senior colleagues as appropriateProvide regular communication to clients on the progress of key tasksTo provide reasoned advice and support to clients on property management mattersSupport the Estates Lead with contractual reporting, working with service lines to ensure regular updates are providedTo undertake basic transactional level activities such as licence renewals and car parking acquisitionsRecord minutes & actions during monthly face to face client meetingsProviding support to the Estates Helpdesk in terms of lease interpretation and liaising with FM suppliersUndertaking inspections of client properties to identify risks and opportunitiesQualifications:
A minimum of 5 GCSE passes (Grade A*-C), incl. Maths and EnglishMinimum 1 year commercial property experience desiredRICS accredited degree preferredKnowledge & Experience:
Minimum 1 year commercial property experience desiredExperience of property management and knowledge of lease termsGood level of computer literacy including Excel, Word and Outlook and ability to pick up new packages quicklyStrong customer service skills and the ability to deal with clients and colleagues at all levelsGood understanding of finance and accounting, specifically property relatedAbility to think on feet, use initiative and work as part of a teamHigh level of organisation skills and ability to prioritise workSkills & Personal Qualities:
