ESPN Visual Storytelling Marketing Intern, New York City, Spring 2026
Job Summary:

About the Role & Program

We are the creative arm of ESPN Marketing, producing a wide range of advertising pieces to promote a full range of shows, products and services to our fans. We are responsible for designing, developing and delivering media for television, print, digital platforms and more, to meet the needs of our marketing teams while supporting all of our sports brands and external sponsors. The approximate dates of this program are January through May 2026 located in ESPN's New York City Office.

What You Will Do

Create digital banners and marketing material for sports properties

Participate in open discussions and meetings regarding marketing campaigns

Organize a high volume of design deliverables and files

Collaborate with design team and project managers on specialized projects as needed

Communicate with brand coordinators to receive feedback and design direction

Required Qualifications & Skills

Solid skills using Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

Willingness and ability to work independently and within a team environment

High attention to detail and experience multitasking in a fast-paced environment

Previous experience working in design, production or marketing

A portfolio is required as part of the application process. This should include samples of art work, graphic design, and/or work using Photoshop/Illustrator to create digital assets such as digital banner designs and social posts

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

Knowledge of the ESPN brand and passion for sports

Strong knowledge of a variety of marketing platforms (digital, social media, etc.)

Demonstrated interest in the business and creative side of sports marketing

Familiarity with Artboards and Smart Objects

Education

Junior or Senior year preferred

Major or previous coursework in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or related major preferred

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship

Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program

Be at least 18 years of age

Possess unrestricted work authorization 

Additional Information

Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship

Fully available from Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week

The Approximate dates of this internship are January through May

Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the New York City area

Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

The pay rate for this role in New York City is 22.50 per hour.
