**Job Description** **Position Summary:** Manage and ensure proper execution of theplan-o-gram process that includes utilizing merchandising concepts and retailspace planning to maximize selling opportunities and increase overall sales.The merchandiser has to be a planogram specialist who works with other team toanalyze product sales patterns, recommends facings and mins products shouldhave, display strategy, and which products should surround it. She also assureseffective and timely implementation in accordance to the annual category updatecalendar. **PositionResponsibilities:** Builds , develops anddesigns an original and correct merchandising ( POG) , based on a preliminaryreview of the categories , which involves details of the situation of themarket category Vs AZ Mexico , such as: inventory , Vendor Funding for thepurchase of fixtures and signage , resolution of specific exit strategies byproduct type , location of the category within the sales floor and adjacent ofthe categories. Manages and secures, through JDA Space Planning, Mainframe andShelftag, the correct implementation of planograms , description tag , sequence, minimum, maximum, pictures and other key elements that allows an accuratecommunication to the stores (using ZAP Format) ; by doing this the Operationsteam can perform a proper implementation of the project. Supervise and coordinatethe functions and projects of Planogramas specialists. Serves as a guide inspecial or complicated projects, ensuring the best performance of planogramsspecialists and avoiding errors in implementation. Works together with theCM, ACM and the Analyst to review different category kpis, such as historicalsales data to compare behaviors exhibition Vs previous years, current trends inthe marketplace to identify potential sales opportunities, business lines,differentiation between regions, sales in the last 13 periods and the last 8weeks Vs time of SKU 's in-store, gross margin, profit, product returns peryear (turns) and space square foot profitability, 80/20 product analysis, crossmerchandise , promotional ideas (extension arms, special signage) in order tomake recommendations and maximize the product performance into the planogram. Supports the resolutionabout technical issues related to planograms and joints efforts with otherdepartments as follows: tracking theorders (fixtures and signage), monitoring the exit strategies, reviewinginventory levels, schedule recalls and performs some other situations thatmight cause a delay into the release planogram process. Liaises with CategoryManagers and Operations Management to ensure that the results about optimizingspace and performance provide positive results, improving financial kpis as aresult of the effective product placement. Does category spacevalidations in stores with CMs and ACMs to be used as an input for categoryassortment definition in line reviews. Assures proper pog communication tostores and solves questions regarding pogs and space allocation in stores. Performs some othertasks and key projects assigned by the Manager for his/her own development,such as periodical visits to stores to verify the integrity of planograms anddisplay opportunities in order to improve the space allocation, effectivecommunication with the counterparty in AZ SSC (USA) to improve processes for AZMexico, New Stores Set Up , etc. **PositionRequirements:** + Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent. + Area of Study: Business, Engineering, Technology, Design + Years of Experience: Three to five years. + Type of Experience: Project management, Retail, Store Operations, Merchandising, Visual Design **About Autozone** AutoZone de México is the leading retailer and distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
