ESL/ML Teacher for Elementary Students Hourly Rate: $35–$40 Start Date: January 5, 2026 Location: Wisconsin Dells, WI (Elementary School) About the Role We are looking for an enthusiastic English as a Second Language / Multilingual Learner Teacher to join our elementary team. This position focuses on supporting K–5 students in developing English language skills while accessing grade-level content. The right candidate will foster an inclusive classroom environment, collaborate with colleagues, and help students thrive academically and linguistically. What You’ll Do + Provide engaging language instruction through push-in, pull-out, and co-teaching models. + Work with learners at various English proficiency levels using WIDA standards as a guide. + Conduct and analyze language assessments (e.g., WIDA ACCESS, WIDA Screener) to inform instruction and track progress. + Partner with classroom teachers and support staff to adapt lessons and ensure equitable access for multilingual learners. + Communicate effectively with families, offering culturally responsive support and coordinating interpreter services when needed. + Build strong family-school connections to promote student success. What We’re Looking For + Experience teaching ESL or multilingual learners in an elementary setting. + Familiarity with WIDA frameworks and language development strategies. + Ability to scaffold grade-level content for English learners. + Commitment to inclusive and culturally responsive practices. + Strong collaboration and communication skills. Qualifications + Current or eligible Wisconsin DPI ESL certification (or equivalent). + Previous experience with elementary multilingual learners preferred.
