ERP Programme Director

 

Our Technology team are looking for an experienced ERP Programme Director to join them on a permanent basis in London. This is an exciting and highly collaborative strategic leadership role, supporting our teams to deliver key programmes and projects in a timely manner and to a consistently high standard. Reporting to the Director of ERP and acting as a point of escalation between the Technology Centres of Excellence, you’ll own the effective SAP delivery, prioritisation, governance and assurance. You will also have responsibility for delivering SAP Transformation and implementing a global PRH Common Information Model (CIM) which will shape the way we operate across all global PRH regions.

The role

 

Key responsibilities:

 

Working across the organisation to understand, lead and shape our future SAP demand in line with PRH strategic drivers and priorities as well as ensuring a stable ERP environment from which we can build on. Line management of the SAP Process Manager, SAP Environment Manager and SAP Test Manager, developing and mentoring a high performing team. Working with all Technology Centres of Excellence and the wider Strategic Projects Team to remove blockers and act as a point of escalation in support of uninterrupted delivery. Collaborating with the Technology team to ensure a smooth transition from SAP pipeline to active delivery including the development of robust business cases from budget placeholders. Develop a strong network of key SAP stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and timely resolution of blockers to progress. Continuously review processes and approaches to ensure they remain current and effective and help to ensure they are implemented successfully. Direct and manage comprehensive SAP transformation projects, with a focus on SAP Concur, Signavio, future S/4 HANA and Central Finance (CFIN) implementations. Work with the wider business to build an understanding of the value that controlled Business Improvement and Change Management delivery brings to a complex and fast-moving organisation, developing a language and process that creates transparency and engagement. Continuously review SAP process and approaches to ensure they remain current and effective and leading their successful application and implementation. Ensure the provision of regular reporting to key SAP stakeholders, providing transparency on where the change requests are in the delivery lifecycle. Ensure all change requests are in support of the guiding principles and that funding is agreed as part of the approval process.

 

What you’ll bring

 

Essential criteria:

 

Proven experience in managing, implementing, and maintaining SAP systems and SAP projects like SAP Concur, Signavio, S/4HANA, and/or CFIN. Familiarity with standard Programme and Project Management concepts and processes; Prince2 / Agile / MSP / P30 Previous experience in successfully delivering Technology projects. Excellent stakeholder management capability with strong negotiation and influencing skills at all levels. Strategic thinker who understands the implications of decisions. Commercially aware and results driven. Experience in managing large budgets. Strong people management and leadership background. Passionate about continuous improvement.

 

Preferred criteria:

 

Ability to mediate and resolve conflict where appropriate. Ability to interpret documents such as a business case, project plans, status reports and issue and risk logs. Ability to quickly assimilate complex information and use judgement to draw conclusions and make recommendations. Ability to work with ambiguity and use judgement to drive forward deliverables.

The salary for this opportunity will be dependent on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus a generous bonus scheme and benefits.

 

Hybrid working

 

While our offices across the UK are places to connect, collaborate and celebrate with colleagues, we recognise that flexibility around where you work is just as important. For this role we expect that you will work from the Embassy Gardens office in London 2 days per week, with a willingness to travel to our site in Frating, Colchester on occasion.
